AZUSA'S LEGACY

Azusa Garden Centre is on the site where Azusa Farm & Gardens was founded in 1995 by plant collector/propagator Everett Chu and his wife Miriam. 

Everett was a Certified Professional Horticulturalist (CPH), EcoPRO-certified, and a member of the Association of Professional Landscape Designers (APLD). He was also a longtime member and leader of the WSU Skagit County Master Gardener's club. He designed several display gardens for the Northwest Flower and Garden Show and was recognized as the Washington State Nursery and Landscape Association's “Member of the Year” in 2016.

 

Everett passed away in February 2022, after having left a lasting impact in the community with his passion for plants and landscapes and dedication to spreading joy through beautiful transformative gardens.
