Our Unique Process
SUSTAINABLE & FUNCTIONAL DESIGN
We are proud to be ecoPRO
Certified Sustainable Landscape Professionals
Azusa is committed to landscape design that works with the natural patterns and behavior of the land and ecosystem. We always consider factors such as where the sun hits, how water naturally flows, and the micro-climate of the area when making design decisions. These choices are meant to have a minimal impact on the earth, require less watering and maintenance, and maximize how different species of plants thrive side by side.

HOW MUCH DOES A CONSULTATION COST?
Each project is highly customized and tailored to your needs. We'll offer creative and flexible, budget-based solutions specifically tailored to fit your site. Some of our customers are avid gardeners and only need a few questions answered. Others are looking for a comprehensive end-to-end package, from design to maintenance. We're happy to work with you based on your specific needs!
CAN YOU DO DROP-IN CONSULTATIONS?
No, our landscapers are often out on site visits so while we'd like to accommodate drop-ins, we suggest you email us for a time.
HOW LONG DOES AN AVERAGE PROJECT TAKE?
A project timeframe can be discussed at the time of the consultation depending on your needs.
CAN YOU PROVIDE ONGOING MAINTENANCE AFTER A BUILD?
Yes, ongoing maintenance is available. Just ask us during your consultation.
If you've had a consultation from us, you've noticed that we work with nature's processes rather than fighting against them, so that we can help you maintain healthy soil, use less water and find real, low-maintenance landscape answers. We design with the changing of seasons in mind. Plant selections are carefully arranged according to the microclimate. In our designs, plants typically have at least two seasons of interest, preferably four, to encourage year round beauty and minimize maintenance needs.
In any given season we may be replacing and transplanting plants, pruning, cleaning up, fertilizing, aerating, thatching, liming or hauling debris on properties all over the Skagit County, and surrounding areas.
